The Challenge
MoEngage is on a mission to build the world’s most trusted customer engagement platform for customer-obsessed marketers. But in order to achieve this, they needed to drive traffic to their site and, more importantly, turn that traffic into leads.
Nikki Kyriakopoulos, a Senior Marketing Manager at MoEngage, started looking for an agency that could help her scale her content marketing efforts. A colleague recommended Brafton to her, and the rest is history.

Our Goal for this partnership is to create gated lead-generation assets that will help MoEngage capture qualified users’ email addresses.
Each time a user downloads an eBook, that user shares their email address with MoEngage. But, they also share their job title, their full name and other valuable information that can be used to refine MoEngage’s targeted segmentation across marketing campaigns.
This ultimately helps MoEngage market to its email database more effectively and precisely.
For us, this job was business as usual. We know the drill after creating 300+ eBooks, and countless email campaigns, over the last 2 years.
The Outcome
- 1,156 additional organic sessions.
- 10,466 increase in total site traffic from all sources.
- 136 downloads in 2022.
- Organized content library and easy workflows.
We wrote and designed 5 eBooks with their respective LPs for MoEngage, which drove a total of 10K sessions from Jan. 2022 to Dec. 2022. These eBooks were also promoted by an email marketing campaign, which we wrote strategic copy for.
During that period, the eBooks were downloaded a total of 136 times. This means that our client now has a hundred-plus, highly targeted leads with valuable information including:
- First Name.
- Last Name.
- Work Email.
- Phone number.
- Job Title.
Now, MoEngage can target these leads with personalized email marketing campaigns.
Here’s a closer look at some of the outcomes:
The “Modern Marketer’s Guide to Email Marketing” eBook drove 238 clicks from Google organic search, and 77 clicks via targeted email campaigns during 2022. In total, it was viewed more than 2,800 times:
The “Ultimate Customer Engagement Strategies that Boost Retention” eBook earned 16 downloads and was viewed more than 4,500 times, by 3,385 users:
“How AI Can Fuel Your Marketing Effectiveness” was viewed 859 times, and Google / organic contributed to 19% of those views. This asset had 29 downloads, and 69% of them are attributed to organic traffic:
Users downloaded the eBook “Cross-Channel Personalization at Scale” 18 times in 2022. Google / organic drove 18% of the traffic, and email drove 14%:
“The Ultimate Guide to SMS Marketing” had the most conversions of them all, with a total of 68:
MoEngage is also thrilled with how we managed our work using our own Content Marketing Platform.
“I like their PM tool, — it makes it easy to access the content library and see the status at a glance,” Nikki said.
And it doesn’t end here: We are currently finishing up social media posts to promote these downloadable assets across LinkedIn and Twitter. MoEngage is also interested in improving its SEO by creating blog posts that target strategic keywords.
